7 Things for 12 Days :: June

Hello!

This blog is going to be the
'7 Things for 7 Days' challenge, created by Sprinkleofglitter (Louise). But I am going to try and complete these tasks by the end of June!

http://sprinkleofglitter.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/interactive-7-things-for-7-days-june.html

I have decided to do this as I think it will be fun, and a great activity for people to get involved and interactive!

I don't plan to achieve all of these activity's in 7 days, as I have school etc. So by the end of June, I hope I would of completed it. So here are my
'7 Things for 7 Days' activities!:)

Cook: I don't really cook, so i would love to get into cooking. I plan to bake something. I have a few ideas in my head such as; rainbow cupcakes and pinata cookies.

Create: I love being creative. Since my mum is pregnant (due Wednesday! Ahh!) I want to get creative and think of some crafty things that I could make for the baby girl. Of course Pinterest would come in handy! (How I love Pinterest.)

Photography: I love photography. I plan to use my camera a bit more and take some pretty pictures, and get creative!

Bargains: I used to always go to car-boots, and sometimes even do one myself! I really enjoy going to them. So in this month, Im going to go to one and hopefully find some bargains!

Complete: I have a crafty activity that im a quarter of the way through. I would like to complete it asap. {Im looking for a wicker egg type basket! Let me know if you know where to get them from in the UK};)

Blogger: Since Ive been lacking a bit on blogging, I would like to blog on a regular basis. I also would like my blog to be a little bit more popular, so I can chat to more people.

Save: I would love to save up for a nice new professional camera. If I only save up a little that's fine, as long as I have saved up something!

So that's it!:)
If YOU would like to join in, then read Louise (Sprinkleofglitter's) post!

Scarlett Hearts Jewellery

Hiya everyone!

Today I'm going to do a blog about; Scarlett Hearts Homemade jewellery.
I came across this cute little shop by reading Sprinkleofglitters blog post about Scarlett Hearts. (Oh how I love her!)

I had a look on their little shop and came across the Golden Snitch necklace (from harry potter). As I am a lover of Harry Potter, I had to get it! It looked so cool, and unique! I left a little message on the Scarlett Hearts facebook page, and Charlotte, was so kind and lovely, and as soon as the Golden Snitch was back in stock, I ordered it! The delivery was very quick and came in 2-4 days.

Mr postman arrived! I opened the parcel, and saw the Golden Snitch! I love it! It was beautifully packed.
I also get sent a free "I <3 SH" badge, which I thought was cute.

The Golden Snitch necklace opens up, so you can hide secrets and photos inside!
But what I would improve about the Golden Snitch, if it was bigger. It looked quite big in the pictures, but I would of preferred it            to be a little bigger. But overall I love it!:-)

If you are a creative person, take a look at Scarlett Hearts.
You will love their jewlellery!:-)

Hope you enjoyed this blog post!
Please comment and follow this blog!
Thanks for reading!

How to: Make a Polymer Clay cupcake!

Since I am a very creative person, and love doing art, crafts and D.I.Y I have decided to
make a tutorial on how to make a polymer clay cupcake.
As this is my first blog tutorial, it may not be the best.
How to make a polymer clay cupcake:

Start of with 3 polymer clay colors of your choice,
Im using Purple (glitter), pink, and light blue, and
a scrap bit of clay.

Stat making a cupcake base shape. You do this by pushing in
the top of the clay, and shaping the edges by pushing them in.
Turn it over and it should look like a cupcake base.
It should look like this, turned over.
Roll out the pink clay, to look like a very long sausage shape.
Add the scrap piece of clay, onto the base. Mold it into a
dome shape, you will not see the scrap piece!

Stat adding the pink clay. This will count as icing, so keep wrapping
it around the dome scrap clay.
It now should look like this!
Finish it of with a cherry;) Mine is blue!
Tadaa! You have finished your creation!
Other cupcakes I made!

Well I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Let me know if you liked
it as I could do more. Comment any D.I.Y ideas, because I would
love to do a blog on them. Thanks for reading, and ill speak
to you all later!

Bye!

NCT Nearly New Sales! - LucyMay

Hello everyone!:)

After seeing Sprinkleofglitter's video about Nct Nearly new sales, I thought it might be a good idea to go with my mum and her boyfriend. Since my mum is pregnant with a little baby girl (blog about it coming soon), I thought it was a good idea.

If you don't know what Nct Nearly New Sales is, its a charity for national children trust.
They do a number of events. Here is their website if you are interested. http://www.nct.org.uk/

We decided to go to the Nearly New Sales, which is a bit like a car-boot, but in a hall and posher!

So we arrived! It was tipping it down with rain, (typical English weather!) We walked up to the door and found out  members get allowed in 15 minutes early but we didn't know that (So they get the bargains!) So non-members had to go in at 10:30. To be a member you have to pay £40 a year.

We were surprised with how much stuff there was. From prams, to hundred of toys, to clothes.

As we went around looking at all the stuff, we did get a few things! Here they are:

Naturally Better Peter Rabbit pull along
We got a bargain on this one! It was originally £18.50
but we got it for £3 we love it!

Bouncer
We got this for £12.50, It was originally £34.93 from Tescos!
Wooden puzzle
(Yes its for boys but puzzels are fun!)
This was originally from Toys'R'us for £9.99 but
we brought it for £3.00

Baby Grows 3 pack
These are from George (Asda) for £5.00
But we got them brand new for £2.00
New pink baby spoons
Not sure were from but found on Amazon for £3.29
Fairy Play Mat
We got this for £10, it is from Mother Care.
We may not use it though, as we have a different and better one now. So this
may be going to a charity shop.

So as you can see we got a lot of bargins!

Overall we had a fun time! If you was going I would recommend not to go with little children as it can get busy! You get a little 'Goodie Bag' with lots of leaflets and Ariel soap sample (Haha) xo

Bye everyone!
Speak to you soon!
